Job Description Job Description Job Summary We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Grill Cook / Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, cook items on the grill, and maintain a clean and organized workstation while following all food safety guidelines from the Food and Drug Administration. Responsibilities - Prepare ingredients such as vegetables, meats, and sauces before service - Cook food items on the grill according to recipes and customer orders - Maintain proper food temperatures and quality standards - Follow sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen - Clean and sanitize workstations, equipment, and utensils - Assist other kitchen staff during busy periods - Store food properly and label ingredients - Ensure kitchen supplies are stocked and organized Qualifications - Previous kitchen or restaurant experience preferred - Basic knowledge of grilling and food preparation - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Strong teamwork and communication skills - Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40–50 lbs - Food handler or safety certification (recommended by the National Restaurant Association) Skills - Knife skills and food preparation - Time management - Attention to detail - Cleanliness and organization Schedule - Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
