Job Description:
Line Cook Position Description: Arrive to work in timely manner,
check in with chef for any specials, begin daily prep and station
set up for service. Fully stock station, complete any daily prep
need for service (e.g., slice lemons, cut herbs, finish/heat
sauces, make quick vinaigrettes, bread pork chops, etc.). Prepare
and plate food based on the Chef/Sous Chef's guidance. Maintain
quality of food served throughout service, communicating issues and
problems as needed to the Chef/Sous Chef (e.g., low on food
product, misfire, burned item, etc.). Properly flip pans,
equipment, label, and store all food in a safe/correct way for the
next service. Break down and properly clean equipment at end of
night, change foils, and help dish scrub floors before leaving as a
team. When slow, focus on BOH deep cleaning projects or prep
projects to help get ahead for the next shift. Ensure that the
kitchen operation and hygiene meet health and food safety standards
and the Chef/Sous Chef's kitchen procedures. Cook food for Guest
throughout service to the standard set by the Chef of the
restaurant Pm Line Cook: Multiple stations: Garde-Manger, Hot
Appetizers, Entres, Float Shift 3:30pm-Close $18-20 per hour Line
Cook: Multiple stations: AM Cold Side, AM Hot Side, Lunch/Swing
Shift 10am-3:30pm $18-20 per hour
