Job Description:

We are looking for enthusiastic bartenders to provide an excellent guest experience. Good bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding guests' needs and expectations. This job includes late-night shifts on weekends and holidays. Previous bartending experience is required.ResponsibilitiesPrepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patronsInteract with guests, take orders and serve food and drinksAssess guests' needs and preferences and make recommendationsMix ingredients to prepare cocktailsPlan and present bar menuCheck guests' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking ageRestock and replenish bar inventory and suppliesStay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experienceComply with all food and beverage regulationsSkillsResume and proven working experience as a bartenderExcellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinksPOS system literacyKnowledge of a second language is a plusPositive attitude and excellent communication skillsAbility to keep the bar organized, stocked and cleanRelevant training certificateAs a condition of employment, all Smokecraft Modern Barbecue team members are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to commencing employment.Job Type: Part-timePay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hourBenefits:Employee discountFlexible schedulePhysical Setting:BarCasual dining restaurantSchedule:10 hour shiftHolidaysNight shiftWeekend availabilitySupplemental Pay:TipsAbility to commute/relocate:Arlington, VA 22201: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Experience:Bartending: 1 year (Required)Restaurant Experience: 1 year (Required)License/Certification:TIPS Certification (Preferred)Shift availability:Night Shift (Required)Work Location: One location
