Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVOR Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: Ongoing - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Staff CVOR CST Opportunity – Winchester, Virginia Direct Hire | Full-Time | Day Shift Job Description A large regional referral hospital and Level II Trauma Center in the Winchester, Virginia area is hiring a CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for a permanent, full-time role. This role is ideal for a highly skilled surgical technologist with strong sterile technique and cardiovascular surgical experience who thrives in a high-acuity operating room environment. Position Overview - Permanent, full-time role - Start date: ASAP - Level II Trauma Center environment - Demonstrates expertise in sterile and aseptic technique and applies knowledge of human anatomy, surgical procedures, and surgical technology to support cardiovascular surgical interventions Shift Details - 06:30-17:00 - Every other weekend required - 40 hours per week Compensation & Incentives - Pay range: $31.75 – $41.75 per hour (based on experience) - Shift differentials if applicable - Eligible for up to $15,000 sign-on bonus - Relocation assistance available up to $7,500 - Complete benefits package available Key Responsibilities - Prepare and maintain sterile surgical field - Ensure proper functioning and readiness of surgical equipment and instruments - Anticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments and supplies during procedures - Maintain strict aseptic technique and infection prevention standards - Assist with patient positioning and surgical preparation - Handle surgical specimens accurately and safely - Perform surgical counts to ensure patient safety - Support surgical team throughout cardiovascular procedures - Maintain organized and safe operating room environment - Etc.
