experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) skilled in Cardiovascular
Operating Room (CVOR) nursing for a contract position based in
Arlington, TX. The role is situated within a busy Operating Room
unit, featuring 10 OR suites and staffed by professionals dedicated
to delivering excellent perioperative care. Key Responsibilities:
Provide perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room, primarily
focusing on orthopedic and trauma cases Collaborate with surgical
teams to ensure patient safety and adherence to protocols Maintain
accurate documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR)
system Participate in call rotations, averaging 4 to 6 shifts per
month Adapt to unit policies including dress code and scrub color
requirements Qualifications and Desired Experience: Registered
Nurse (RN) license required Completion of PeriOp 101 course
mandatory Experience in orthopedic and trauma perioperative nursing
highly preferred Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) is
a plus for relevant candidates Strong knowledge of cardiovascular
operating room procedures encouraged Ability to work flexible
shifts including day and night rotations as needed Location
