Job Description A hospital in Midlothian, VA, is seeking a dedicated Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist for a locum tenens assignment in an advanced Maternal-Fetal Medicine practice. This opportunity involves both office and inpatient coverage, supporting high-risk pregnancy care. The ideal candidate will join a collaborative team with a flexible schedule and the ability to provide high-quality care at a top-tier facility. Key Details - Assignment Type: Locum Tenens - Setting: Office / Hospital Inpatient - Start Date: ASAP - Schedule: On Call, weekdays and weekends; Weeknights - Patient Population: High Risk Pregnancy - Location: Midlothian, VA - Stipends: Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates Benefits - Weekly direct deposit - Malpractice insurance with tail coverage - Supportive credentialing assistance - Lodging and mileage reimbursement - Flexible scheduling Job Responsibilities - Provide comprehensive care for high-risk pregnancies - Perform required procedures such as amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling - Collaborate with a team including a nurse practitioner, RN clinic educator, sonographer, and genetic counselor - Document patient information using EPIC and Viewpoint EMR systems Qualifications - Board Certified/Board Eligible in Maternal-Fetal Medicine - Completed Fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine - Valid Virginia medical license and BLS certification - AIUM certification preferred - Submission to relevant job postings and a Self-Query NPDB report within 30 days Working Hours - On-call coverage required for weekdays and weekends Skills - Proficiency in maternal-fetal care procedures - Experience managing complex high-risk pregnancies - Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment - Strong communication and documentation skills Join our team to make a significant impact on maternal and fetal health outcomes within a supportive and state-of-the-art facility.
