labor experience License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS,
NRP, AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification Must-Have: - At least 2
years of labor experience Description: This position is for a labor
and delivery nurse. The unit has 24 beds and a staff of 71. Staff
includes day shift labor nurses, nursery nurses, OB technicians,
secretaries, leadership, and educators. Night shift staff includes
labor nurses, nursery nurses, OB technicians, and secretaries.
Patient ratios are typically 1:1 for labor, 5-6:1 for postpartum,
and 5-6:1 for nursery. Equipment used includes GE fetal monitors
and Meditech EMR. The role involves performing vaginal deliveries,
C-sections, and caring for antepartum patients. Newborn and
post-partum care is also required. Navy blue scrubs are the
required dress code. Staff have specific badges for infant
security. Every third weekend requires working with 12 hours of
call in a 4-week schedule. Requirements Required for Onboarding
