Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiovascular Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Shift: /nDay 5x8-Hour (06:45 - 15:15)/n/n /n/nWork Experience:/n /n/t - /n/t Perform cardiovascular diagnostic procedures – Conduct non-invasive tests such as electrocardiograms (EKGs/ECGs), stress tests, echocardiograms, Holter monitoring, and other diagnostic evaluations to assess heart and vessel function. /n/t /n/t - /n/t Prepare and monitor patients – Explain procedures to patients, prepare them physically and psychologically for testing, position them correctly, and observe their vital signs during the tests to ensure safety and comfort. /n/t /n/t - /n/t Operate and maintain equipment – Use specialized cardiovascular equipment (e.g., EKG machines, imaging devices) properly, ensure they are calibrated and functioning, and troubleshoot minor issues. /n/t /n/t - /n/t Document and communicate results /n/t /n/t - /n/t *Level I trauma exp required /n/t /n/t - /n/t 2 year CVOR /n/t /n /n/n/n /n/nLicense: /nNBSTSA /n/n /n/nCertifications: /nBLS/CPR Certification. /n ProKatchers Job ID 3217685.
