Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Radiation Therapist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 03/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapist /n/n Job Details: /n • Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (5x8 schedule) /n• 13-week assignment with potential to extend (3-6 month options available) /n• Administer radiation therapy treatments on Varian True Beam Linear Accelerator /n• Treat adult and geriatric patient populations with daily caseload of 30-40 patients /n• Minimum 2 years of experience required /n• Must have Virginia state license (or license from another state with proof of VA license application) /n• ARRT (T) certification required /n• BLS certification required /n• Experience required with Varian True Beams and ARIA Electronic medical record (EPIC preferred) /n• General skills required: CBCT/kV/mV imaging /n• Dosimetry systems experience: IMRT, Electron Beam Therapy /n• Specialty treatment experience: Electron Field, Respiratory Gating/Breath Hold for Left Breast, Heterotopic Bone, Superior Vena Cava, Gynecomastia, Prophylactic Treatments /n• Specialty cancers/illnesses experience: Keloids, Prostate Cancer with Seeds/Fiducials /n• Must complete EPIC training (accelerated or 2-day class) /n• Up to 7 hours of non-billable modules required during orientation /n• Scrub color: Any color acceptable /n• Accepts first-time travelers /n• Minimal requested time off preferred /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive radiation therapy department equipped with state-of-the-art Varian True Beam Linear Accelerators.
