Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a
qualified Endoscopy RN in Richmond, Virginia, 23294! Job Title:
Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13
weeks Shift: 07:30 - 17:00 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum
of 2 years in endoscopy License: RN License Required
Certifications: ACLS/BLS Must-Have: Endoscopy procedural experience
ACLS and BLS certifications Description: General comments include
important specifics about the unit. The unit has 5 pre-op beds, 5
post-op beds, and 2 procedural rooms. The patient-to-nurse ratio is
either 1:1 or 1:2. All staff members in the unit are Registered
Nurses. Equipment includes bedside monitors, EKG machines, and
endoscopic procedural equipment. The documentation system used is
Expanse. Staff are required to work 4-10 hour shifts with on-call
responsibilities for weekends and after hours. Floating to local
endoscopy facilities or pre-op/PACU may be required. Candidates
should have at least 1 year of endoscopy experience. Advanced
skills are not necessary for this position. Common procedures
performed include colonoscopies, endoscopies, and ERCPs. The dress
code is blue scrubs, with light blue preferred. The department is
small, family-oriented, and has a strong dedication to teamwork. 5
