As a new graduate, you will work closely with experienced physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to develop your skills in diagnosing, managing, and treating physical conditions of patients across various ages. This role not only focuses on patient recovery but also emphasizes the importance of patient education and continual learning within the field of physical therapy. Evaluate patients' health issues and work with other healthcare professionals to develop effective treatment plans. Apply various techniques to promote mobility, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability. Participate in patient and caregiver education regarding care and continuous health management. Document patient care and progress, adapting plans as needed based on their evaluation. Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive treatment and care. Stay current with the latest physical therapy techniques and practices through continuous education. Knowledge of physical therapy principles and techniques. Ability to operate medical equipment involved in physical therapy interventions. Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and healthcare team. Capability to develop and follow through with physical therapy plans and assessments. Proficiency in the use of computer systems for documentation and management.
