Encompass Health Mechanicsburg seeks a dedicated Nurse Supervisor to join our team, tasked with overseeing nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of exceptional care. As a Nurse Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing patient outcomes by managing, guiding, and evaluating the nursing staff. You will ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, and foster a collaborative, supportive environment that reflects our commitment to high-quality, integrated care for patients recovering from life-changing illnesses and injuries. Supervise and review nursing staff performance, ensuring adherence to established standards and procedures. Coordinate nursing operations, managing scheduling, staffing, and patient care procedures. Implement and monitor compliance with all healthcare regulations, hospital policies, and safety practices. Promote continuous professional development among staff through training and education. Facilitate communication and coordination between nursing staff, doctors, and other healthcare professionals. Evaluate patient care quality and effectiveness regularly, proposing improvements as needed. Participate in recruitment and hiring of new nursing staff, and conduct onboarding and training. Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Profound knowledge in clinical practices and healthcare regulations Ability to handle high-pressure situations Highly skilled in problem solving and critical thinking Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of employment Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications preferred
