to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Richmond, Virginia, 23225! Job

Description: 2 years of experience in a hospital setting is
required. Active VA or Compact license must be held. Unit consists
of 33 beds staffed by approximately 55 individuals. Night shift
typically includes 1 charge nurse, unit secretary, 7-8 RNs, and 2
PCTs. Patient ratios range from 5 to 6 patients per nurse. Common
equipment used includes EKG machines, code carts, and vital sign
monitors. Experience with Meditech EMR is preferred. Candidates
should have a strong patient focus and the ability to excel in a
fast-paced environment. Preferred qualifications include experience
in medical-surgical nursing. The unit performs procedures such as
small incisions and drainages, peritoneal dialysis, and infrequent
thoracentesis. Ideal candidates are high-energy with a positive
attitude. Dress code consists of navy scrubs; cotton jackets are
not permitted. This environment features interactive technology
