Medical Care Unit Registered Nurse – Virginia Start Date: February
2, 2026 Location: Richmond, Virginia Compensation: Details provided
to qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour shifts; rotating weekends
(every other weekend) and major holidays; no on-call required
Highlights: 32-bed medical care unit specializing in
cardio-pulmonary and general medical patients 6:1 patient ratio
with strong support staff including PCTs, Clinical Coordinators,
and Unit Secretaries EMR: Meditech 6.0 Standard nursing equipment
including BiPAP, Mid/Flow oxygen, PD, Heparin drips, and Phillips
Cardiac Monitors High admission and discharge turnover; dynamic,
fast-paced environment Floating to similar med-surg or step-down
units as needed Requirements: Active RN license in Virginia (or
ability to obtain prior to start date) BLS certification (ACLS is
NOT required) Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to
work weekends and major holidays as assigned Adaptability in a
