Monitoring experience within the previous 2 years. Candidates must
possess Labor and Delivery experience. Description: Unit
Information: Number of Beds: 16 Labor, Delivery, Recovery rooms; 3
Operating Rooms; 3 Triage; 3 Recovery Rooms. Number of Staff: 70
Day Shift Staffing: 1 Charge Nurse, 12 RNs, 2-3 Surgical
Technologists. Night Shift Staffing: 1 Charge Nurse, 6-7 RNs, 1
Surgical Technologist. Patient Ratios: AWHONN ratios are the goal
and may vary from 1:1, 2:1, or 3:1 for low acuity cases. Type of
Equipment: Novii monitors, iMobile, headsets, pass-through
skin-to-skin C-section drape, deep soaker tubs, light therapy,
aroma therapy. Electronic Medical Record: CPN and Meditech. Typical
Procedures: Labor, delivery, recovery, triage, antepartum care,
circulating for C-sections, first hour baby care (excludes
admission assessment, eyes, and thighs), breastfeeding assistance.

Scrub Color: Navy Blue. Closed-toe shoes required. Tattoos and
piercings must be covered. Unit Guidelines/Policies: 24-7 coverage
provided by hospitalists and midwives, anesthesia, and
