Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Richmond, VA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,942 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Must-Have: TNCC and ENPC preferred Description: General comments about the position. Unit specifics: Number of Beds: 18. Patient Ratios: 4/5:1. Unit staffing includes RNs, Nurse Externs, PCTs, and Unit Secretaries. Types of equipment used include Zolls, Ultrasound, GE Monitors with 12 lead, Welch Allen Vital Signs, and BD IVs. Documentation system used is Meditech. Scheduling requirements involve working every other weekend. Floating policy is in place as needed. Patient experience should be professional, respectful, kind, and passionate. Required certifications include: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH. Advanced skills such as TNCC and ENPC are desirable. Procedures performed in the unit include IVs, blood collection, medication administration, and documentation. Dress code requires blue scrubs with no off-brand hoodies or jackets unless pre-approved. Unit-specific policies and guidelines should be followed. Awards or recognition within the department may be shared.
