Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Wound Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/16/2026 - Duration: 12 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Inpatient Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (WOCN) RN - Day Shift/n/n Location/n Maryland /n/nAssignment Duration/n This is a 12-week contract position. /n/nSchedule/n 5x8 hour shifts, Days (08:00 - 16:30), Monday through Friday /n/nJob Description/n The Inpatient Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (WOCN) will provide specialized nursing care for patients with wounds, ostomies, and continence issues. This role requires an experienced RN with a focus on wound care and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to promote optimal patient outcomes. /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with wounds, ostomies, and continence issues. /n - Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs. /n - Perform wound care procedures including dressing changes, debridement, and infection control. /n - Educate patients and families regarding ostomy care and wound management. /n - Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and collaborate with healthcare team members. /n - Document patient progress and outcomes in the electronic health record. /n /n/nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure/n /n - Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland or compact state. /n - Wound Care Certification (WCC) required. /n - BLS certification required. /n - Wound Ostomy Continence Nursing Certification (WOCN) preferred. /n - Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience in wound care. /n /n/nWhy ARMStaffing?/n At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
