Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: MRI Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 01/05/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: MRI Tech - MRI Tech Job Details: • Work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM • 13-week assignment with ASAP start date • Virginia license required or proof of VA license application with proof of active license from another state • ARRT (R)(MR) certification required • 2 years of MRI experience required • Work with Siemens Skyra 3T, Siemens Sola 1.5T, and GE Signa HDx 1.5T equipment • Must attend EPIC class (Radiology MT Online on Unit) - either accelerated or 2-day class required • Grey scrubs required • Up to 7 hours of non-billable modules required during orientation • Must be within 30 miles/30 minutes of campus for potential on-call responsibilities • Flu vaccine required during flu season (October 1st - March 31st) • Medical/religious exemptions available for vaccines with proper documentation • Smoke/nicotine free facility • Previous staff members must wait one year before returning as traveler Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive radiology department with state-of-the-art MRI equipment and technology.
