Job Description Occupational Health Registered Nurse needed for 2nd shift , full-time contract opportunity with Yoh’s well-known manufacturing client located in Arlington, TX. Provide emergency care, first-aid and episodic treatment of occupational injuries and illnesses, within standing orders. This position requires the knowledge of prevention of illness & injury, protection from work-related and environmental hazards, and promotion and restoration of health. RN will maintain accurate records related to OSHA, Workers’ Compensation, and corporate reporting. Top Skills You Should Possess: Active/unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of Texas Minimum of 3-5 years' experience as a Nurse in an Occupational Health, Employee Health, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Internal Medicine, Corrections, School Nursing, and/or Family Practice type setting Flexible, adaptable, reliable, friendly, and helpful employee High level of initiative and sound independent judgment What You’ll Be Doing: Assessment, triage, treatment, and education for sick or injured employees Promote wellness/wellbeing initiatives at the site Provide medical testing such as: drug screens, vision testing, pulmonary function, blood glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, and perform limited interpretation of tests Interface with health services customers in a knowledgeable and professional manner Charting/documentation of care using EMR system (Cority) Assist plant physician in minor surgical procedures Respond to medical emergencies on the campus, as needed What You Need to Bring to the Table: Must be able to consistently work Monday-Friday 2:00pm to 10:30pm Current BLS Computer skills with previous experience using EMR (Cority experience a plus!)
