BLS, ACLS Must-Have: IV skills preferred Experience with Epic
preferred Description: This position involves working in the Preop
and Phase 2 recovery within the gastrointestinal unit. The setting
is predominantly outpatient, but inpatient care is also provided.
Preop responsibilities include assessment, vital signs monitoring,
and IV insertion. In Phase 2 recovery, the role focuses on
monitoring vital signs, Aldrete score assessments, reviewing
discharge instructions, and removing IVs. The patient ratio for
preop is 1:1, and for post-op, it is 1:3. Common procedures include
EGD and colonoscopy, as well as therapeutic ERCPs and
diagnostic/therapeutic EUS. The daily census ranges from 35 to 50
patients. Interdisciplinary support services are available,
including respiratory, interpretation, phlebotomy, radiology,
social services, and rapid response teams. Scrubs will be provided
for the position. Candidates must comply with vaccine requirements
as specified. Travelers are encouraged to apply, including
