Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 07/14/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Title: RN - Med Surg Location: 1200 Pecan Street SE Washington DC USA 20032 Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12x3 Days Description: • NIHSS, BLS & ACLS – Required • CPI - Required (Must be Crisis Prevention Institute's NCI With Advanced Physical Skills Training course) • BSN - Highly desired • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state/district - Required • Inpatient Nursing experience required: 2 Years Telemetry experience required 6 months Travel Nurse experience required Med Surg Telemetry experience required Cerner EMR experience required • Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program – Required • BSN - Highly desired Fulfills the needs of the patients, families and community by performing a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with his/her licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements. Delivers care to patients in a competent, capable, caring and efficient manner. Applies knowledge of growth and development over the life span necessary to provide age appropriate care.
