transforming your career. Senior Director, Precision Medicine
Therapeutic Area Lead Cardio/Metabolic What you will do Lets do
this. Lets change the world. In this vital role, you will act in
conjunction with the General Medicine/Cardiometabolic Therapeutic
Area Head to drive the development and execution of Precision
Medicine objectives. As the Precision Medicine Therapeutic Area
Lead, you will guide the strategic vision, execution, and
integration of translational and precision medicine strategies
across asset and above-asset programs throughout the product
lifecycle. You will: Lead cross-functional teams to develop and
implement phase-appropriate, integrated biomarker and human data
strategies to support translational pharmacology and inform patient
stratification/selection. Develop, lead, and serve as the strategic
integrator of diverse stakeholder input and multiple lines of
scientific and clinical evidence to create precision medicine
strategies at the asset and indication level. Shape the strategic
vision to enhance the value of the portfolio through clinical
biomarker target identification, indication selection, early
demonstration of biological activity, and patient
stratificationincluding reverse translational insights. Lead all
aspects of precision medicine approaches by incorporating
mechanistic insights and multi-omics data (e.g., genomic,
proteomic) into actionable clinical development strategies. Serve
as the primary translational bridge between Research and
Development, advising on clinical proof-of-concept, target
engagement, dose selection, and reverse translational strategies
for assets in the clinic. Drive innovation to shape therapeutic
area strategy, including disease endotyping, indication
prioritization, and combination approaches, while also supporting
regulatory and access evidence generation plans. Engage
cross-functionally to evaluate, propose, and present strategies for
data sourcing, collaborative partnerships, and funding needs to the
appropriate Commercialization Governance Forums. Build and maintain
strong external collaborations with academic institutions, industry
partners, and key opinion leaders to accelerate precision medicine
innovation in cardiometabolic diseases. What we expect of you We

development and precision medicine. Basic Qualifications: Doctorate
degree and 5 years of relevant industry or academic translational
research experience Or Masters degree and 8 years of relevant
experience OR Bachelors degree and 10 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications: MD, PhD, or MD/PhD with 8 years of
pharmaceutical/biotech experience focused on clinical development
and translational science in cardio/metabolic diseases Deep
expertise in translational research, clinical biomarkers, and
precision medicine approaches in cardiovascular, metabolic, or
renal disease Scientific and analytical expertise in integrating
multiple data sources e.g. omic, clinical, Real world evidence
(RWE) to inform precision medicine approaches Demonstrated ability
to develop and implement successful biomarker strategies across
early and late-stage clinical programs Experience working in
matrixed, cross-functional teams and leading external partnerships
Knowledge of clinical trial design, GCP, and regulatory pathways
for biomarker and diagnostic development Exceptional communication
skills and ability to influence internal collaborators and external
partners Demonstrated success in mentoring and growing scientific

range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted.
Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not
limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications. In
