Job Description:
About the Role: A PM&R physician is sought to conduct
independent medical assessments for U.S. veterans to support VA
disability evaluations.
The role involves reviewing medical records, performing
comprehensive assessments, and completing VA-specific Disability
Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) via a secure online portal.
The position is non-treating, focusing solely on assessment, with a
schedule of 1 day/month or two half-days every other week.
The physician will evaluate up to four veterans daily, ensuring
timely, accurate, and thorough documentation within 24 hours.
Ideal candidates are motivated, detail-oriented, proficient in
digital record review, and dedicated to serving veterans.
Requirements include an active MD or DO license in PM&R, board
certification or relevant residency training, and strong data
analysis skills.
Benefits include a guaranteed daily rate of $1200-$1400.
