Tact Staff is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Arlington, Virginia.Job Description & Requirements

• Employment Type: TravelL&D RN Unit: Labor & Deliver Schedule: 7p nights; 3x12s Every other weekend Duration: 13-weeks Start: VCH needs the start date listed in the job order. To be considered, please update both the submission packet and the candidate's Lotus Connect profile to match this date We are a high risk L&D facility with 16 labor rooms, 6 triage rooms, 6 antepartum rooms and 3 ORs. We have a level 3 NICU. We see all OB patients greater than 20 weeks. We are a teaching facility with resident coverage. We often see patients with chief complaints of Preeclampsia, GDM, PPROM, multiples, fetal anomalies, cardiac defects in mom or baby and many others. We have an OR team during the day. They handle all scheduled C-sections and most add on cases. We have 24/7 in house anesthesia. We do external cephalic versions during the day. REQUIREMENTS:
  --- Must have Active VA or Compact License in hand at submission

  --- Circulating skillset
  --- 1+ year experience ((AWHWON Intermediate preferred, not required)) FACTS ABOUT THE UNIT: Avg. Daily Census: 15 Rooms/beds: 16 Ratio: 1:2 Call: YES: call is 2 shifts per 6 weeks schedule Weekends: Every other weekend required Scheduling type: Self Medication management: Omnicell Documentation system: EPIC and OBTV Communication: SBAR First time travelers are accepted. *Weekends: Every other *Scrubs: Provided *EPIC Class: Stork/OB VACCINE INFO: - The Flu vaccine is required during flu season. (Oct 1st - Mar 31st). - If your traveler is requesting a religious or medical Flu exemption, it will be the responsibility of the agency to ensure the traveler's request complies with CMS guidelines.
