Overview:We're growing! Embark Behavioral Health is looking for a Clinical Director who aligns with our mission of reducing adolescent and young adult anxiety, depression and suicide to staff an OP, IOP and PHP clinic opening in Ashburn, VA in 2022 (must be licensed in VA). Come join our team of empathetic professionals who are passionate about creating joy and healing generations together!Embark operates facilities across the US that support adolescents, young adults, and their families by offering a full continuum of care from Long Term Residential and Wilderness Therapy environments to our IOP/PHP clinics to virtual outpatient care. Our local IOP/PHP clinics are a critical part of our strategy to increase access to life-saving mental health treatments for families with insurance.Embark's core purpose is to Create Joy and Heal Generations. We apply this approach to our work culture by living our values of Empathy, Service, Trusting Relationships, Growth and Results every day which manifests in our dedication to the clients and communities we serve.Responsibilities:As a Clinical Director, you will be supported by an experienced Executive Director and Administrative Team that are all focused on the mission to facilitate lasting positive change for young people and their families.The Clinical Director provides oversight to the therapists and case managers and by leading program development and management of clinical and administrative tasks.The Clinical Director also provides direct services for group, individual and family therapy and will be responsible for carrying a small clinical caseload in addition to their supervisory responsibilities.Qualifications:What do you bring to this position?Minimum master's Degree in Behavioral Sciences Social Work (MSW,) Clinical Social Work (CSW,) Clinical Mental Counseling (CMHC), Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or a related discipline. Must be licensed in VA.Fully licensed in state of VirginiaLicensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalentA desire to facilitate client growth through a team approach, working with other care providers.A desire to perform and develop counseling/therapeutic expertise in individual, family, and group therapy.Preferred Two years of working experience as a licensed therapist leading individual, family, and group therapy sessions.Preferred One year of experience in a residential setting using relational, experiential, and systemic modalities.Ability to plan, implement, and adjust a course of treatment as required.Ability to pass a state background checkBenefits:What does working with Embark offer you?
