You are:

AGovernment Data Protection Security Analyst who will support our Security & Intelligence Directorate's Client Data Protection (CDP) team, and raise the bar of Security First across AFS. You will be responsible for working with a cross-functional team of technical and non-technical key stakeholders to effectively drive decision making, influence policy, and strengthen our risk profile. If you enjoy working in a rapidly changing environment and influencing the strategic direction of a large global organization, this position will provide you with a challenging opportunity

The work:

  • Ensure related team documentation is current and accessible to properly authorized individuals
  • Develop, track, and maintain metrics to measure success and identify focus areas
  • Assist in operational and business process execution and documentation as needed
  • Combine understanding of CDP and business processes to recommend solutions
  • Drive continuous improvement to operational and automation efficiency
  • Manage access to data protection information
  • Escalate and provide recommended mitigations of issues and concerns
  • Support ad-hoc project requests

    Here's what you need:
    • Must be a U.S. Citizen
    • Experience in any of the following: Security compliance, Data protection, Information technology, Information security, Governance and Audit
    • Experience in a Service Management platform (ServiceNow, Salesforce, etc.) and their reporting capabilities and dashboards to create metrics and relay statistics to key stakeholders
    • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications

      Other required skills:
      • Exposure to change management approaches to implement, communicate, and help users adapt to program updates
      • Customer service and quality focused with proven process improvement skills
      • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize assignments, and meet critical and established deadlines
      • Works effectively as an individual and part of a team
      • Track record of delivering solutions combined with leadership in resolving issues
      • Innovative problem solving, research, and analytical skills
      • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to polish

        Bonus points if you have:
        • Bachelor's degree
        • Experience in risk assessment and management, business risk analysis and making business/risk trade-off recommendations and decisions
        • Experience with Agile development methodology and the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
        • Demonstrated experience developing and refining technical and business operational processes
        • Effectively time management skills, will ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
        • CompTIA Security+, or other security, audit, or privacy certifications

          Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience.As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below andinformation on benefits offered is here.

          Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role

          California: $59,900-$94,700

          Colorado: $59,900-$81,800

          New York City: $69,300-$94,700

          Washington: $63,900-$87,100
