transforming your career. Business Performance Senior Manager What
you will do Lets do this. Lets change the world. In this vital role
you will be responsible for supporting creation and management of a
complex transformation implementation plan across the portfolio of
Technology & Workforce Strategy initiatives, providing guidance to
individual program and functional teams, and ensuring consistent
application of transformation principles across multiple
initiatives. This role will support initiative leadership and
subject matter experts in development of solutions that enable
program success across Technology & Workforce Strategy initiatives,
then pull those solutions through into actionable plans and
implement within the organization. Areas of transformation include
capability building, technology and process improvements, and
culture change. This role will support the Business Performance
Director and Implementation Lead and work closely with
cross-functional leadership and consultants to ensure the change
management and communications framework is fit for purpose. The
Senior Manager Business Performance will gather, analyze, and
synthesize cross-functional information across a variety of sources
to turn unstructured business issues and requests into appropriate
transformation mapping, implementation plans, and high-quality
deliverables. The incumbent will also support program level
presentations and reports that clearly summarize status, issues,
implications and recommendations to key partners to inform and
communicate decision making. This role will support overall
implementation of complex cross-functional projects, often
parachuting into critical workstreams to de-bottleneck and/or
accelerate performance. The ideal candidate will also have deep
expertise in project management and R&D scientific and
operational subject matter, including the ability to interface with
and synthesize inputs from cross-functional subject matter experts,
often in highly technical fields. Initial project work will focus
on R&D operational transformation, with the opportunity to flex
across the Amgen enterprise in the future. Responsibilities
Supporting implementation of a consistent transformation
methodology Providing guidance to functional teams on project
milestone planning and execution Conducting program-level impact
analysis to identify potential challenges and risks, and support
the development of mitigation plans Collaborating with
cross-functional stakeholders on implementation planning and
execution Identifying and implement best practices and lessons
learned to continuously improve the transformation process A

appropriate for the objective Constructively challenge teams by
providing disconfirming information and encouraging innovative
problem solving Facilitate workshops and governance discussions

seek has these qualifications. Basic Qualifications: Doctorate
degree and 2 years of Scientific and/or Operations and/or Business
(i.e. Management Consulting) experience OR Masters degree and 4
years of Scientific and/or Operations and/or Business (i.e.
Management Consulting) experience OR Bachelors degree and 6 years
of Scientific and/or Operations and/or Business (i.e. Management
Consulting) experience OR Associates degree and 10 years of
Scientific and/or Operations and/or Business (i.e. Management
Consulting) experience OR High School Diploma/GED and 12 years of
Scientific and/or Operations and/or Business (i.e. Management
Consulting) experience Preferred Qualifications: Strong background
in biopharma with a focus on strategic problem solving and
transformation Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, Project Management
Professional, or equivalent 2 years of cross-functional consulting
and/or project management experience Excellent conceptual
problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to bring structure
to vaguely defined problems, pragmatically scope problem solving
approach, and manage execution Strong leadership skills with a
demonstrated ability to influence different styles Ability to
navigate and align stakeholders Experience building strong
relationships in cross-functional teams Excellent oral and written
communication skills, including ability to storyline and prepare
executive-level discussion documents Strong quantitative and

range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted.
Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not
limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications. In
