Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Factory
Service Center Branch Manager to join our dynamic team! Under the
direction of the Regional Service Operations Manager, the Factory
Service Center Branch Manager will play a critical role in
overseeing and managing the operational activities of our Factory
Service Centers and developing our Service team to support
individual growth and increase organizational capacity. The manager
will lead a team of technicians and support staff to ensure the
delivery of high-quality customer support and product service to
distribution and end users, optimize operational efficiency, and
drive continuous improvement opportunities. The ideal candidate
will possess strong leadership skills, operational expertise, and a
customer-centric approach.Duties and ResponsibilitiesPeople,
Culture & Strategic Leadership:
- Foster Milwaukee Culture expectations with the team to create
empowered leaders and a one-team mentality, driving innovation and
an always-improving mindset to maximize organizational capacity and
create a collaborative, high-performance team.
- Set performance goals and objectives, conduct regular
evaluations, provide feedback, and monitor training to help develop
the team.
- Develop goals and self-evaluate performance toward achieving
those goals.
- Align with the Regional Service Operations Manager's efforts to
train, coach, and mentor for continuous improvement in
performance.
- Recruit and hire high-potential employees and execute
onboarding and continuing education training to develop the team,
expand organizational capacity, and foster employee growth.
- Drive cross-functional engagement with key business partners to
achieve strategic objectives, exceed metrics, and deliver on
critical improvement projects.Operational Oversight:
- Supervise direct-report employees, including coordinating,
prioritizing, and overseeing all activities, while driving branch
operations and assigning responsibilities.
- Recommend personnel changes and resource allocations to
leadership, maintaining conformance with company policies and
procedures.
- Manage day-to-day branch operations to support customers, grow
market share, profitability, and service levels, with P&L
responsibility within budget and KPI goals.
- Perform administrative activities such as pay administration,
goal setting, and work measurement.
- Assist with relocation and lease renewals, including market
assessments, space planning, and security improvements.
- Drive operational excellence through optimized inventory
management, sales and service responsibilities, and proper
financial transactions.
- Assist in responding to alarm calls and other operational
support as needed.
- Position self and team as experts and resources within the
organization for support and implementation of processes and
programs.
- Plan customer visits and partner with Sales/JSS to cultivate
relationships, deliver presentations, and communicate plans,
leveraging after-sales solutions to grow relationships and
business.
- Manage escalations related to repairs, warranty, and program
support, acting as a liaison between service branches, customers,
and field teams.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and develop strategies to
enhance customer experience and loyalty.Quality & Continuous
Improvement:
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements to maintain
technical expertise and support new product development and
innovation.
- Provide feedback on product and service trends, quality, and
performance issues to corporate management.
- Identify areas for process improvement and lead initiatives to
enhance operational efficiency.
- Implement and train team on 6S practices and ensure adherence
to quality standards.
- Maintain and update resources, fixtures, and equipment to
ensure service quality standards are met.Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and present operational reports to leadership.
- Analyze data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities,
using insights to inform decisions.Education and Experience
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in
business.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in sales, service, or
operations-related fields is preferred.
- Prior management experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in computer skills and Microsoft Office
applications is required.
- Effective business communication skills, broad business
perspective, and market savvy are essential.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with excellent
problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in operational management software and tools.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and
travel up to 10-15% as needed.This position offers a salary range
of $77K - $100K, along with comprehensive benefits including health
