What You'll DoAs a SecOps Engineer, you will be ensuring security,
automation, and cost efficiency. You will leverage expertise in
Endpoint protection, automation, security, and operations to build
resilient, cost-effective, and secure environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for security policy testing, security agent
planning and deployment, security agent health reporting, and
developing architectural diagrams of security tools.
- Lead the strategy and daily operations for IT endpoint security
within Azure/AWS GCCH environments.
- Manage and optimize endpoint protection platforms
(EPP/EDR/XDR), vulnerability management tools, and configuration
management solutions.
- Collaborate closely with the Cybersecurity team to align
endpoint security tools with risk management frameworks, incident
response protocols, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure adherence to CMMI Level 2 processes and support
continual maturity improvements across endpoint security
practices.
- Oversee secure configuration baselines for Windows, macOS,
Linux, and mobile endpoints.
- Drive standardization, automation, and policy enforcement
across a global IT footprint.
- Develop KPIs and reporting mechanisms for endpoint security
tool effectiveness and compliance posture.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and industry best
practices, adjusting endpoint strategies accordingly. -
- Manage vendor relationships and lead tool evaluations,
renewals, and integrations. -
- Act as escalation point for endpoint-related incidents and
support major investigations in conjunction with Cybersecurity and
IT leadership. -
- Mentor and develop a global team of endpoint and security
specialists.You're good at:
- Endpoint protection - designing cost-efficient, secure
solutions to protect endpoints. -
- Network engineering - securing and optimizing connectivity
across hybrid cloud environments. -
- Cloud security - enforcing IAM, RBAC, and ABAC policies. -
- Multi-cloud operations - leveraging multiple CSPs effectively.

- Federal cloud compliance - navigating security standards in
civilian and defense sectors. -
- Cross-team collaboration - communicating technical concepts
across engineering, security, and business units.
What You'll BringQualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information
Security, or a related field.
- Certifications: CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security
Professional) certification Or Security+ nice to have
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with security tools and platforms
such as Tanium, Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Zscaler, Azure
security, Intune, GitLab, Enterprise Linux.Must-Have:
- Endpoints and managing security tools, Microsoft Intune
experience, metrics reporting, agent deployment
- Strong Endpoint security and security operations
expertise.
- Deep network engineering knowledge for secure, scalable cloud
connectivity.
- Experience with IAM, RBAC, ABAC, and cloud security best
practices.
- Multi-cloud expertise across multiple CSPs.
- Background in US Federal government cloud/network/systems
engineering.
- Strong communication skills for collaborating across
teams.
- Familiarity with federal compliance requirements and directives
is essential.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security
clearance
- U.S. Citizenship RequiredNice-to-Have:
- Security operations experience in agile service/software
delivery.
- Hands-on work with upgrading and managing endpoint protection
tools.
- Expertise in US Federal compliance/security frameworks
(FedRAMP, DoD STIGs).

- Endpoint operations, Cyber security, and compliance teams to
align security with strategic objectives.
- Federal IT operations and consulting teams to enhance cloud
security capabilities
Additional infoTotal compensation for this role includes base
salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, contributions to
BCG's Profit Sharing and Retirement Fund (PSRF), and a market
leading benefits package described below.
- We expect total annualized compensation for Washington D.C.
based employees to be approximately the following:
- Base salary between $144,000 - $176,667; placement within this
range will vary based on experience and skill level
- Annual discretionary performance bonus between 0% - 20%
- 5% Profit Sharing Retirement Fund (PSRF) contribution,
increasing to 10% after two years of service. Contributions are
vested immediately and there is no waiting period
- First year annualized target total compensation: $166,320- -
