Job Description:
Manage projects independently through all phases: due diligence,
space planning, design, permitting, construction, turn-over and
decommissioning for Cresa clients.Responsibilities
- Understand project issues that should be considered in
developing and implementing Strategic Real Estate Plans
- Run full tenant process on simultaneous multiple projects and
own and delegate/provide guidance and mentorship to other team
members
- Negotiate favorable contracts on client's behalf
- Active in:
- Business Development initiatives
- Networking
- Charitable giving or CGI initiatives or committee
involvement
- Member of industry association or organization
- Contribute to meet PM business goals
- Assist in marketing/PM collaterals
- Contribute to revenue generation
- Instrumental in securing PM assignments (internal and/or 3rd
party) and maintaining existing relationships
- Provide expert guidance to other PM team members
- Develop strong client, consultant and vendor
relationshipsExperience & Education
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience as a project manager,
responsible for the design and construction process.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project programs
- Ability to understand construction drawings and
specifications
- Knowledge of Smartsheets is preferred
- Experience in building and managing a project team
- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal,
especially when leading meetings, initiating correspondence,
generating meeting notes, and disseminating information internally
and externally with clients, vendors, and various personalities in
the industry
- Proven ability to manage a multi-million-dollar budget
- Expertise with budgets, schedules, scoping consultants,
lease/work-letter reviews, Real Estate process/strategic planning,
permitting, close-out
- Demonstrated ability to pitch with Real Estate Team and
independently for PM assignments
- Proven ability to manage a multi-phase, multi-disciplinary
schedule
