Overview:
The Program Manager will lead multiple customer focused programs in our Advanced Capabilities business area. Project areas include real-time automated test and analysis, virtual compute environments, machine learning based data analytics, cybersecurity, backfit and forward fit tactical solutions. The Program Manager will be responsible for the delivery of on-time and on-budget solutions which meet or exceed customer expectations. They will be an internal and external customer interface, lead a multi-disciplined engineering team and be responsible for maintaining schedule and cost objectives for each project. In addition, They will ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer requirements into solutions that account for technical, schedule and cost constraints.

Responsibilities Include:

• Lead the management and execution of multiple programs
• Understanding of Agile management workflow and process
• Serve as primary internal and external customer interface
• Schedule and track deliverables and project costs
• Develop IMS, POAMs, and staffing plans
• Perform all aspects of Earned Value Management
• Lead and coordinate a multi-disciplined engineering team assigned to each program
• Evaluate program status to ensure progress is being accomplished toward specified program objectives and modify methodology as required to redirect activities to attain objectives
• Ensure programs deliver solutions which meet all contractual requirements and customer expectations including technical performance, quality, and cost
• Develop and execute on business, solution, and product strategy to ensure the growth and success of one or more programs
• Support proposal development and cost estimating for follow-on and new contracts Minimum Required Qualifications:
  
  • 1+ Years of Experience in Program Management in the federal government sector
  • Bachelors Degree in relevant field Required Skills:
    
    • Experience managing DOD programs
    • Familiarity with DOD Systems and/or Software Engineering processes
    • Experience in proposal and cost estimation development
    • Versed in Earned Value Management
    • Ability to travel approximately 5% Preferred Skills:
      
      • Project Management Professional (PMP)
      • Experience managing US Navy and/or MDA contracts
      • Experience with DOD Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) contracts or equivalent
      • Familiarity with CMMI Level 3+ processes
      • Understanding of US Navy and/or MDA platform-level tactical systems and software
      • Working knowledge of DOD cybersecurity goals and techniques
