Job Description:

HR Developers, LLC., -an established -residential -Construction firm headquartered in Arlington, Virginia is currently seeking a Project Manager. Applicant should be self-motivated, have a strong desire to learn, and be willing to take on new challenges. Successful candidates should be able to:
RESPONSIBILITIES

• 
  
• Manage all aspects of -residential -construction project from estimating to close-out
  
• Direct day-to-day on-site supervision of field labor force including assistants, foremen, subcontractors and other construction related -personnel.
  
• Assist -with providing technical assistance (interpretation of drawings, recommendation of construction methods and equipment, etc.) as -required.
  
• Optimize -internal -resources -and -contractors -for assigned projects -to gain efficiencies and cost savings
  
• Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
  
• Negotiate with contractors to receive -favorable -costs
  
• Work together with superintendents to maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
  
  
  Requirements

  • 
    
  • Bachelor's or Associates degree in Architecture, Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical) or Construction Management Preferred
    
  • 5 years' experience in construction project management -required
    
  • Class A license a plus
    
  • Experience working the permitting process a -Plus
    
  • -Strong leadership qualities
    
  • Strong negotiation skills
    
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
    
  • Strong computer skills and high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office
    
  • Understanding of Buildertrend a Plus
    
  • Knowledge of Spanish and English a Plus
    
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE -
    
    • 
      
    • Bachelor's or Associates degree in Architecture, Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical) or Construction Management Preferred
      
    • Construction Project Management : - 5 years (required)
