DescriptionEnterprise Real Estate Services is seeking a facilities
operations manager who will support the Raytheon Intelligence &
Space (RIS) headquarters and other small sites in the Arlington, VA
area. In this role, the selected candidate will be the local
facilities site lead responsible for leading, managing,
maintaining, and overseeing all aspects of facilities operations.
The candidate will be accountable for facilities budget management,
implementation of site workplace strategies, site project
management, strategic site space planning, operations & maintenance
support, subcontractor management and partnering with the local
business leadership team. The position is responsible for the
following:
- Ensuring the execution of day-to-day operations are completed
and communicated to site leadership
- Budget management including long range infrastructure and site
modernization efforts
- Consistent engagement with onsite employees and leadership
- Customer relationship and administrative management support for
senior leadership
- Support project delivery team in execution of site construction
projects
- Responsible for ensuring a safe, flexible, efficient, and clean
workplace
- Daily engagements with local business leadership, functional
teams including DT, Security, EH&S, site leadership The ideal
candidate will possess the following demonstrated skills and
experience:
- Strong background related to leading all aspects of facilities
management and partnering with the business.
- Good teaming ability
- Ability to work in an agile environment, with the ability to
work through difficult business challenges, supplier management,
critical infrastructure systems operations and maintenance in a
high consequence environment, data center support and management,
organization, and personnel development, operating and capital
budget development and management, quality and process improvement.
The candidate is responsible to support site audits and ensure
compliance. The candidate must possess excellent oral and written
communication skills to include presentations to executive
leadership and corporate staff. The candidate must also have the
capability of acquiring a TS/SCI clearance. This position requires
moderate to frequent business travel as needed. Required
Skills:
- Previous Facilities leadership position in a fast paced,
manufacturing environment that included multiple organizations and
contractors. This would include extensive experience building
strong cross-functional teams with proven results.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, MS
Project, etc.).
- This position requires the ability to travel locally and
nationally on an as needed basis
- Effective fact-based decision making
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate both
financial and technical information and communicate at all levels
of business, verbally and in writing
- Able to comprehend complex written and graphical information
and articulate the same to staff, peers, and customers
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proven success negotiating between customer and facilities in a
fair and effective manner with creative solutions Desired
Skills:
- Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or Facility Management
Professional (FMP) certification from IFMA
- Knowledge and understanding of DOD and SCI Physical Security
practices, Environmental Health & Safety/OHSA standards and
Information Technology standards
- Knowledge of facility design and work management systems
(AutoCad, CAFM, CMMS, BMS )
- Knowledge of Facilities Operations and Maintenance industry

- Experience in Six Sigma and change management Required
Education:
- This role typically requires a bachelors degree in Engineering,
Facilities Management, Business Administration or applicable field
and 8 years of experience OR an advanced degree and 5 years
experience. US Citizenship:
- This position may require access to systems/tools that are
restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship
- This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security
clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are
