Job DescriptionBecause this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.The Electronic Combat Solutions business unit is seeking a Business Development Manager in support of F-35 and our airborne electronic warfare portfolio located in Southern New Hampshire. This position will further develop our pipeline related to F-35 and the airborne electronic warfare community and the DoD. This position will need to bring existing customer relationships, develop and maintain strong business relationships with key decision makers across BAE Systems Electronic Systems Sector, as well as identify and qualify business opportunities, and position BAE Systems for bidding.Specific Activities Include:Build, mature and execute comprehensive account plans that deliver desired customer awareness and awards.Identify and qualify a robust pipeline of focused opportunities that align with Electronic Combat Solutions business objectives.Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to identify customer objectives, priorities, and requirements that strategically position BAE Systems as an innovative industry leader.Develop and maintain strong industry relations with large and small businesses with significant presence in the assigned markets.Team with Business Area leadership to provide counsel and recommendations for the bid/no bid gate reviews and collaborate with the Product Line Director & Capture Team Leads for smooth turnover to proposal development.Conduct competitive analysis.Develop effective win strategies which include identifying and qualifying new opportunities.Reside in southern NH preferred but not required, NOVA or Dallas-Fort Worth area also preferred but not required.Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship status.Required Education, Experience, & SkillsBachelor's Degree and at least 5 years of experience serving in the armed forces or working in Business Development.Strong understanding of a customer s market- F-35 and Electronic Warfare Community, Fed Civ, DOD- Army, Navy, Air Force or Marine Corps, or Space, with relevant organizational relationships. Will consider all customer bases. Former F-35 Staff or Operational experience considered being highly desirable.Exceptional written and oral communication skills with experience presenting at executive levels.Preferred Education, Experience, & SkillsIdentifies, develops, and implements near-term and long-term business strategies relating to the development of new services, technologies, and follow-on products.Current Active ClearanceReside in southern NH preferred but not required, NOVA or Dallas-Fort Worth area also preferred but not required.F-35 Business Development Manager84644BREEO Career Site Equal Opportunity Employer.
