WANTED: A highly experienced Acquisition Program Manager with an active Top Secret/SCI clearance and demonstrated expertise supporting government acquisition agencies in developing acquisition strategies, work statements, evaluation plans and in qualify vendors.As an Acquisition Program Manager, you will:Be heavily relied upon to support production lead in diverse acquisition requirements that included: contracting modifications, tracking contracting requirements, cost analysis, monitor changes in DoD acquisition policy, program compliance, and supporting the Program Manager in preparation of future major milestone decisions.Provide expertise in the POM process, CARD development, budget reviews, award fee/incentive fee evaluation, acquisition briefings, CDRL deliveries, and provide technical assessment of contractor proposals.Receive a robust benefits package that includes Employee Stock Ownership Plan!Enjoy being in an organization where Program Managers are highly valued, work independently and in a culture of accountabilityA week in the life of the Acquisition Program Manager:Fully support the Production IPT Lead in contracting, cost analysis, contract modification tracking, proposal technical assessments, and other urgent action items as needed.Develop contract strategies, SOW/SOO, RFPs, CDRLs and provide recommendations to the IPTL to facilitate Milestone achievement. Monitor program progress, master schedules, and quickly coordinate contract modifications/program adjustments as necessary.Use database systems (i.e., SharePoint) to track existing contracting actions, managed contractual documentation, and provide detailed reports to the Program Manager.Support the IPT in all facets of the budget process to include CARD development, POM issues, and budget drills.Conduct detailed technical analysis of contractor proposals, coordinate evaluations, and draft detailed reports for the Production IPTL/COR as needed.Develop/use existing cost models to ascertain government cost positions based on technical analysis.Generate and/or update the following documents: SOW, CDRLs, contract exhibits/attachments, cost estimates, J&A, and procurement Requests.Founded in 1975, AMERICAN SYSTEMS is one of the largest employee-owned companies in the United States.
