We've got what you're looking for.**Job Description:**JOB DESCRIPTION:Principal Project Manager / Drainage Practice Lead - US West RegionOpportunity :Parsons is seeking to hire a Principal Project Manager / Drainage Practice Lead for the US West Region of our Mobility Solutions Business Line supporting infrastructure projects and programs. This position can be based virtually, with regular travel requirements throughout the US, predicated on various project initiatives and needs. The individual in this role will have a depth of professional experience as a subject matter expert for drainage practices supporting large and mid-scale projects in North America.This individual will provide discipline-specific direction and management for medium to large-sized projects and ensure on-schedule completion within or below budget in accordance with contractual obligations. The individual will be responsible for the scope development, scope management and commercial performance of the project's discipline-specific elements to meet project goals and objectives. The individual will plan and define discipline-specific project goals and devise methods to accomplish them.Responsibilities :+ Serve as the discipline lead and as a subject matter expert for drainage in the US West Region.+ Actively engage in project delivery as a Drainage discipline lead or Project Manager on key projects.+ Support business development initiatives for Parsons' drainage disciplines, and assist in developing strategy for growth, contributing to an overall vision for supporting planning, engineering, and design-build projects across the US West Region.+ Support mobilization of company resources by coordinating with Parsons' operational teams across North America to create and optimize project teams capable of completing effective, quality work. Discuss the qualifications required of key project positions in specific.+ Support other managers, project engineers, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and plans for the drainage-specific elements of a project. Ensure that the project meets or exceeds goals established in these plans.+ Identify and support the recruitment of additional junior and senior drainage staff needed to deliver projects.+ Support senior drainage staff in their development to manage the delivery of the drainage design on time and on budget.+ Work with project drainage leads to ensure quality control procedures are followed so errors are minimized across all projects.+ Prepare budgets and schedules sufficient for both proposal and design delivery.+ Work with project drainage leads to ensure proposal designs comply with contract requirements and quantities are reflective of final design quantities.Requirements :+ A 4-year Bachelor's Degree is required in Civil, Environmental, or a closely related field, and 15 years or more highly focused drainage experience.+ A Master's Degree in Drainage is highly desirable.+ A Professional Engineering License in one or more states is required.+ Experience supporting both large scale regional and national transportation projects is essential.+ Business acumen is essential for success in this role.**Minimum Clearance Required to Start:**Not Applicable/NoneThis position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.A full-service engineering and construction firm, we work in diverse, collaborative teams, both within the company and with our partners and customers, to plan, design, build, and modernize infrastructure.
