We do this by identifying and partnering with various entities in the payment ecosystem (FinTech's, processors, enablers, program managers, banks, alternate lenders, etc.) with the goal to support and/or cross pollinate solutions to build new payment flows and differentiated offerings that result in incremental network transactions while delivering value to businesses.Job ScopeAs part of the North America Visa Business Solution organization, the Director of B2B Core Verticals and Enablement will be a key member of the B2B Fintech Partnership sales team.The Director will play critical role in managing and growing new and existing relationships with partners in a variety of business payment verticals such as manufacturing, media, property management, OTA, bill payment, non-profit and others. This role is accountable for driving sales, retaining payment volume and revenue across an existing fintech portfolio as well as develop a pipeline and win.It requires the ability to clearly articulate Visa's value proposition, ideate and validate payment flows and serve as the vertical payment expert to internal and external stakeholders. This ideal candidate has a proven track record in building a robust fintech pipeline with ability to execute on ambitious quotas, manage negotiations end to end, and have the insight for cross-sell and up-sell opportunities. Additionally, the ideal candidate is an experienced sales and business development leader who has worked in the payments ecosystem and maintains executive-level relationships within the payment ecosystem. Accountabilities Define and drive the strategy, pipeline, and agenda for fintechs and enablers in core verticals such as manufacturing, utilities, OTA, property management.Identify strategic opportunities through a strong understanding of potential partner offerings, demonstrating value to the payment eco-system, specifically how the partner helps drive incremental payment volume.Collaborate with internal product owners, partners and relationship owners to drive implementation plans of VBS products for fintech partnersIdentify FinTech's with opportunities around exclusivity, Visa product implementation and marketing and drive those to closureWork closely with product leadership to provide feedback on product development needs for B2B Fintech'sBe the face of Visa to our clients and partners, drive thought leadership and vision. Continuously review market and competitive landscape, identifying opportunities and strategies that will position Visa as the market leader in the B2B Fintech space.Strong focus on execution and deliverables across the entire sales and account management life cycle (pipeline, relationship development, deal negotiation and win, transition to implementation, general account oversight).Identify strategic innovation and development opportunities through a strong understanding of payment innovation, Visa value added services and emerging technology.Mastery of CRM systems/tools to manage territory and pipeline, MS Dynamics preferred.Influence the partner/FinTech's vision for the future of electronic payments, consistent with Visa's strategies.Flex Work Arrangement - Hybrid Position - This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.QualificationsBasic Qualifications10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhDPreferred Qualifications12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhDOther QualificationsUnderstanding of B2B payment network, previous employment within the payments eco-system preferredExperienced solution sales leader with a record of accomplishment for delivering resultsMust possess the ability to identify the inspired path forward to partner, structure creative financial partnership constructs, and demonstrated success in contract negotiations in an effort to drive a deal to close quickly.Strong customer-facing communication skills in all mediums (video, in-person, writing) and all audiences (Peers, internal stakeholders, conferences, leadership, C-suite)Experience in managing relationships and cultivating deep, trusted partnerships with clients and partners.Ability to explain complex business concepts to broad audiences in an engaging way.Natural collaborator with excellent communication skills. Must be self-motivated and comfortable with ambiguity, possessing the maturity and competence to influence across multiple levels and organizations including internal and external stakeholders.Excellent communication and group presentation skills.
