Job Description:
Summary
Lidl US is seeking an Facilites Manager. The Manager of Facilities
(Store Fit Out and Projects) is responsible for Lidl properties
projects that consist of fit out, re-merch, and project roll outs.
The role identifies new efficiencies and improvements by conducting
site visits and liaising with the regions. In addition, the Manager
communicates all Lidl property projects, roll outs and updates to
the regions. This individual ensures all necessary templates and
guide books are updated and communicated to the necessary
parties.
**This position is Hybrid, requiring 3 days in office and 2 days
working from home*
What You'll Do
Manage the Facilities Management equipment distribution process
Perform strategic invoice tracking and contract management of fit
out vendors
Reflect and manage change orders for universal cost spending
problems and utilizing findings to implement cost savings
strategies
Provide regional trainings on fit out process and costs
Create and optimize fit out schedule; audit of schedule
implementation in the field
Document management of store roll out process and audit of
structure
Provide supportive project management
Oversee and coordinate the non-standard store fit out and layout
process
Collaborate with construction on all pre-walk and phase walk
organization
Attend weekly prototype review with construction to coordinate
optimization of equipment and layout improvements
Provide, coordinate, and oversee template updates in collaboration
with procurement
Lead Facilities Management and Procurement collaboration
meetings
Coordinate maintenance management and handover documents with
construction
Update the master store install weekly, encompassing process &
quality control with the regions
Evaluate and audit construction close out documents for portfolio
manager and coordinate universal issues with construction
Create and develop strategic concepts and present developments and
rollout
Create and implement facilities management portfolio and fit out
handbook
Perform other duties as assigned
What You'll Need
Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment, including the
store(s), distribution center(s), warehouse(s), and/or corporate
office(s) with the capability to switch job functions/roles
quickly
Ability to work in situations that involve prolonged sitting,
standing, walking, squatting and/or bending more than half the
time
Ability to work in various conditions in temperatures around or
below freezing, such as outdoor weather conditions or freezers
Ability to remain in a stationary position (standing and/or seated)
all of the time
Ability to bend and twist more than half the time
Ability to maneuver cases of product (lift, move, carry, slide,
etc.) in excess of 50 lbs. and reach above head to heights greater
than 10 inches frequently in accordance with safety regulations
Ability to handle all Lidl products, to include but not limited to,
meat, poultry, alcohol products, and food products with known
allergens, such as nuts
Ability to operate equipment that requires the constant use of
hands/fingers/wrists more than half the time
Ability to handle any hazardous materials in an appropriate
manner
Ability to spend more than half the time viewing computer
monitors
Ability to identify and distinguish between colors more than half
the time
2+ years of experience in related field
1+ years of project management experience
Management and operations experience
Valid drivers license
