Position Summary:

The SVP Constituent Engagement will act as a thought leader in service to core constituencies and elevate this function to provide proactive relationship management and thoughtful program design as they reach out to new markets. This organization's brand is already established as an effective nexus between students, counselors, families, teachers, and university administrators. Those connections can be expanded and leveraged to increase progress in educational opportunities for underrepresented groups.

The SVP Constituent Engagement in collaboration with Business Development will manage key partner relationships and ensure that the CE team acts as strategic partners to cross-functional groups like Product Strategy and Business Development in understanding important constituent needs and identifying obstacles to equity and access in the college admissions process. The SVP CE will oversee and, in collaboration with Marketing, define the vision for programs and non-digital products and services ( e.g. ,consulting, conferences, webinars, newsletters, best practice guides, and other outreach services) to support and increase constituent involvement. Gathering data insights and identifying opportunities for innovations and solutions will be other key aspects of the work of your team, in addition to the historic focus of assisting with technology usage and implementation.

Responsibilities:
Develops the vision and strategy for the Constituent Engagement group, including proactive relationship management and thoughtful program design, as they reach out to new markets in support of the organization's mission and vision
Provides thought leadership and act as a strategic point of contact for key constituents (e.g., university presidents, enrollment leaders, provosts, chief financial officers, school district superintendents, community-based organization leaders, education association leaders, scholarship providers, etc.), as they support new markets and develop strategies to further access, affordability, and attainment for all
Collaborates across the organization to define the vision for programs and non-digital products and services--and own the P&L for those revenue streams--to support and increase constituent involvement
Has the finger on the pulse of all key constituent groups, mining data and identifying unmet needs, as well as successes
Owns the measurement, tracking, understanding, and rating of the NPS score and other satisfaction measures
Oversees product implementations ensuring constituents experience successful onboarding and retention and managing schedules, tasks, and expectations effectively
Ensures Constituent Engagement team takes a proactive role with constituents, determining their critical success factors, metrics/KPIs for success, potential issues, and providing recommendations and best practices
Leverage the systems/infrastructure (currently use Salesforce) to track important relationships
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Strategy, Business Development, Marketing, and Support and provide meaningful customer feedback loops to ensure that customer voice is heard and customer satisfaction goals are met

Requirements
Mission-driven individual with a passion for equity and cultivating opportunities for all students
Higher Ed constituent engagement executive (or customer success exec) with 15+ years of experience with an organization providing a blend of programs and SaaS technology services and 5 years in senior leadership team
Strong playbook for constituent engagement or customer success (onboarding, implementation kits, establishing feedback loops, training, touchpoints, etc.) w/ expertise in best practices
Experience with leading, managing, and balancing multiple constituent personas (college administrators, secondary school counseling community, students, etc.)
Proven track record of high customer satisfaction (NPS score, etc.) and engagement, balancing needs and bringing constituents together
Executive presence and effectiveness to develop and maintain key strategic relationships
Expertise building (non-digital) programs, products and services to drive engagement (e.g. best practice guides, webinars, conferences, surveys, focus groups, consulting services, training, or other offerings)
Leadership experience running and elevating a constituent engagement or customer success function, including auditing and building a team and creating repeatable, efficient processes for constituent engagement
Analytical data-orientation with experience establishing systems and infrastructure to mine data, identify what's working vs gaps, and produce actionable insights on product engagement and other KPIs
Demonstrated successful experience developing and managing budgets, building and developing teams, performance management, and human capital planning.
Strong cross-functional communicator with consultative and collaborative orientation - demonstrated ability to make sure different functions are talking to each other
High level project management skills
Tech savvy enough to understand key functionality of digital products and CRM (Salesforce or another)
