Role and ResponsibilitiesSUMMARYTo support the Finance Leader in strategy and analysis and directing the organization's Finance Planningand Analysis functions. This role works closely with Strategic Business Development and Marketing,Operation Leaders, D&S Leaders, D&S Finance, Controller and administrative functions. Operates in amulti-company environment with responsibilities covering CAE USA Inc. and its subsidiary(ies).ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform theessential functions. - Responsible for preparing, analyzing and validating the monthly Regional Management Report. - Responsible for the preparation and development of the Annual Five Year Strategic FinancialPlans. - Responsible for the coordination and development of the annual Operating Plan budgetcreation and monthly rolling forecasts. - Explain the variations between actual results and forecasts, and the required variance reportingfor the P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow in the Monthly Operating Report - Responsible for development, analysis and presentation of investment business cases, includinganalyzing complex transactions and impact on existing financial and cost structures. - Support due diligence and acquisition efforts, including analysis of target forecasts andopportunities. - Prepare, update and analyze financial models. - Take part or Lead special projects according to the needs of the Finance team.QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS - University degree in finance or accounting, MBA a plus - Ten years of relevant experience. - Ability to work in a team setting. - Ability to manage staff. - Analytical ability and autonomy. - Ability to work under deadlines and multitask. - Results-oriented with strong attention to detail. - Knowledge of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), an asset. - Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).PREFERRED SKILLSExperience in consolidation a plus.Current CA, CPA, CMA or CGA accounting designation or in process of obtaining.SECURITY RESPONSIBILITIESMust comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval.
