We offer challenging assignments on some of the world's largest and most complex projects where our customers have come to value us, because they know, We Deliver!ABOUT THIS POSITIONKBR requires a Program Manager to support the F-35 Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter Joint Program Office (JPO) located in Crystal City, VA. The JPO manages the development, test, production, fielding and sustainment of the F-35 Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter for the USAF, USMC, USN, and International Partner and FMS customer nations. This candidate will support F-35 Mission Systems programs across a wide spectrum of activities and tasks related to platform upgrades and modernization. The candidate will provide programmatic support across the proposal and contract award process, including but not limited to, System Design Development and Continuous Capability Development and Delivery contracts. The candidate will coordinate with various functions on the team to develop integrated solutions to both tactical and strategic program risks and issues, and must be familiar with assessing program health using cost, schedule, performance and risk metrics. The candidate must work well with a widely-dispersed team and be assertive in capturing key inputs and data to incorporate into various products. The candidate must also have excellent communication skills (written, verbal and active listening). The candidate must be comfortable working in a very dynamic, fluid environment and enjoy problem solving. Duties include but are not limited to:-----Supporting customer in execution of PM functional leadership duties and contractual legal proceedings.-----Developing and monitoring program plans including cost, schedule and performance estimates. -----Ensuring project outputs and reporting products are delivered on schedule and within funding constraints.-----Identifying program problems, and recommending solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.-----Developing plans and managing available resources to meet customer schedules and requirements.-----Preparing and delivering briefings for formal interchanges with government customers, as well as aircraft OEM counterparts and leadership.-----Coordinating with multi-disciplined/cross-functional product and process teams to ensure implementation of integrated solutionsTravel: Occasional travel required (10-20%) to, Fort Worth, TX, and other F-35 acquisition and operations locations may be required. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:-----Security Clearance: Secret-----Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Engineering, Business, Management or a degree relevant to the position-----Four (4) years of experience in program management, technical or business analysis discipline;-----Familiarity with DoD 5000.02 acquisition policies and procedures-----Demonstrated knowledge of the principles, policies, and practices of system acquisition to plan, organize, and coordinate critical aspects of the development, production, and deployment of systems, subsystems, and equipment-----Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills-----Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office products.ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:-----Experience working with the F-35 Joint Strike Program, highly desiredINCLUDES:Competitive health, wellness & lifestyle benefits Inclusive, flexible and supportive company cultureOngoing training and development opportunitiesLEARN MORE ABOUT KBR: https://www.kbr.com/markets/government
