This integral role is responsible for maintaining safe and efficient reactor operations, adhering to strict regulatory requirements, and providing leadership in emergency procedures. As a Senior Reactor Operator at Constellation, you will contribute directly to our commitment to clean and reliable energy. Monitor and operate nuclear reactors and associated equipment within regulatory and facility guidelines. Conduct regular checks and maintenance scheduling to ensure operational safety and efficiency. Lead incident response drills and real situations, ensuring all protocols are followed meticulously. Provide training and guidance to junior staff and reactor operators. Prepare and review operational reports, updating procedure manuals as necessary. Collaborate with engineering staff to implement operational changes and upgrades. Extensive knowledge of nuclear reactor operations and safety protocols. Strong leadership abilities and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and training capabilities. Problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
