Job Description Job Description Job Title: Maintenance Technician Job Description As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform preventative and predictive maintenance on facility machinery. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems using schematics and technical drawings, and repair equipment, fixtures, systems, conveyors, and other equipment at the facility as required. You will also lubricate, diagnose, and operate equipment. Working independently and with other team members, you will complete repairs in a timely and safe manner. Additionally, you will be responsible for completing required daily paperwork and documenting parts and material usage while maintaining a clean and safe work area. A basic knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Mechanical Systems (CMMS), including experience with HMIs and work orders, is necessary. Responsibilities Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on facility machinery. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems using schematics and technical drawings. Repair equipment, fixtures, systems, conveyors, and other equipment at the facility. Lubricate, diagnose, and operate equipment. Work independently and with other team members to complete repairs timely and safely. Complete required daily paperwork, document parts and material usage. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Essential Skills Experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics systems. Experience with preventive maintenance and schematic reading. Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting and electrical troubleshooting. Experience working with bottling lines, cappers, and fillers. Additional Skills & Qualifications 5 years of experience maintaining and repairing bottlers, cappers, fillers, and palletizers. Experience with injection molding and GMP is a plus. While not climate-controlled, the temperature remains comfortable. The plant employs about 90 people, with 22 on the maintenance team, and utilizes 46 robotic forklifts for loading trucks. You will work with new Krones machinery featuring advanced technology and Siemens PLCs. The schedule follows a 2,2,3 pattern with shifts from 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sparrows Point, MD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $36.00/hr.
