versatile and innovative Maritime Systems Engineer to support an
interesting and exciting project within the Intelligence Community.
Project: The Systems Engineer will work as part of a
cross-functional team comprised of technical experts supporting an
established and growing Intelligence Community (IC) mission. You’ll
analyze system requirements and concept of operations documents,
acquisition plans, and system designs. As a SE on our team, you’ll
use your experience to work with the testers, developers,
engineers, and other experts from a wide range of stakeholder
groups to evaluate hardware and software developed for integration
onto assets. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to advise
the government on strategic technical planning, project management,
performance engineering, risk management and interface design for
legacy and future sensor systems. Typical daily duties include:
Identifying system requirements and working with a team to oversee
system design, development, integration, and product verification
testing at the component and system level. Participate in Technical
Exchange Meetings on system integration, technical/programmatic
issues, and risk management as needed or required. Support testing
and test planning across the full range of the acquisition life
cycle, providing subject matter expertise and technical support for
proof of concept, developmental test, operational tests, and
factory & acceptance tests.; gather documentation to support field
exercises and coordinate with test ranges and support activities.
Advocate for program performance that meets the requirements of
government project leads, recommending future direction or projects
to management. Interface with all aspects of the team to resolve
system engineering issues and actions, to include: tracking user
requirements and their translation into system requirements and
specifications; providing expertise and direction in the
development or modification of new capabilities; providing system
engineering support and advice for system integration. Minimum
Qualification: Must be a US citizen and have an active TS/SCI with
CI Polygraph. Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline
(Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical
Engineering). 6 years of professional experience working in systems
engineering. Experience with embedded systems or robotics.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team of peers, as
well as excellent interpersonal and communications skills. Ability
to communicate highly technical analyses at a level comprehensible
to non-technical audiences and senior-level government
representatives. Experience working on-site at a customer location.
Experience working in DOD/IC. Desired Qualifications: Master's
Degree in Systems Engineering or experience with rapid prototyping
and fielding projects. Experience developing Maritime systems.
Advanced degree in an Engineering discipline. Experience following
DAU Systems Engineering best practices. Practical RF systems
knowledge gained through design, construction, or facilities
management work experience. Military or defense-related experience
and an understanding of operational planning and functional defeat
of hard targets. DAWIA Level II or equivalent in the systems
planning, research, development and engineering (SPRDE)-S&T
functional areas. Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a
team of peers, as well as excellent interpersonal and
communications skills. Ability to communicate highly technical
analyses at a level comprehensible to non-technical audiences and

candidate’s starting pay will fall within the salary range provided
below and is determined based on job-related factors, including,
but not limited to, the experience, qualifications, knowledge,

upper end of the pay range. The base pay for this position within
California, Colorado, Hawaii, and the Washington, DC metropolitan
area is: $175,000.00 - $200,000.00 For all other states, we use
geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven
ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may
