We are seeking a Dev/Ops engineer with an understanding of concepts even at the board level, willing to take over operations work, diagnose Kubernetes issues, CI/CD issues, application issues, and assist customers with deployment troubleshooting. The Dev/Ops engineer will update sections of software and manage changes across the program. They will support team members as needed, work across contracts on front-end and back-end development, and collaborate with the customer operations team to ensure continuity. DevOps Engineers must be proficient in scripting languages such as Java, and possess interpersonal, management, and decision-making skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
Required Experience and Education:

• Seven (7) to Twenty (20) plus years of experience as a Software Engineer (SWE) in programs of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited institution. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on similar projects may substitute for a degree.

• Development experience with Kubernetes (Rancher), Terraform, Ansible, AWS, GitLab, ELK Stack, Prometheus.
  
  Security clearance required.

    Pay range is negotiable based on experience and other factors, with a projected range of $170,000 to $245,000.
