Performed:Come join our growing team and make a difference every
day! AnaVation is seeking an experienced Network Engineer with
experience designing, implementing, and supporting federal
government classified network infrastructure, ensuring secure and
resilient connectivity across geograhpically distributed sites.Key
responsibilities include: - Configure and maintain Cisco network
devices, encryption gear, and virtual networks. - Monitor network
performance, availability, and incident response. - Support PKI
integration, cross-domain solutions and secure VOIP/VTC. - Perform
routine site check-ins, maintain site POC lists, and document
network architecture.This position is full-time onsite in
Washington, DC and cannot be supported remotely.Required
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering,
Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical
field preferred. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of eight (8) years
of relevant network engineering experience is required.
- Experience: 8 years
- Required Skills/Certs:
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience designing, configuring,
maintaining, and troubleshooting secure enterprise network
infrastructure.
- Experience supporting Cisco networking hardware (routers,
switches, firewalls) and general network appliances.
- Demonstrated experience with classified environments, encrypted
networks, and cross-domain solutions.
- Familiarity with network monitoring, performance tuning, and
documentation practices in accordance with federal standards.
- Proficiency with networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF,
EIGRP, VLANs, VPNs)
- Hands-on experience with Inline Network Encryptors (INE), Cisco
IOS, and ForcePoint cross-domain technologies
- Ability to configure and troubleshoot both physical and virtual
networks (including VMware integration)
- Working knowledge of network security tools (e.g., Tenable,
Splunk) and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
- Required Clearance:
- Active Top Secret clearance required. Selected candidates will
be required to obtain TS/SCI.Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent
