Primary Focus Of This Position Is On Automation OfThe Senior DevOps
Engineer works across the Product Engineering Team to foster and
build a DevOps culture of cross-collaboration by working with each
team to design and implement secure automated solutions for
development, testing, and production environments.

through Ansible, Go and Terraform),
- Code and test development

containerization, and CI/CD, as well as assisting in enhancing and
strengthening processes and procedures as part of Privia's

experience working within an environment that has evolved from
start-up into a more mature organization with the right governance
in place.Primary Job Duties
- Mentor, and/or train other DevOps and software engineers,
onshore and offshore, including empowering others to learn and
implement DevOps best practices.CI/CD
- Design and implement secure automation solutions for
development, testing, and production environments
- Develop capabilities that move the team towards continuous
integration and zero downtime deploys
- Establish telemetry on integration and deployment pipelines to
enable a continuous feedback loop mechanism.Security
- Maintain a secure development infrastructure, collaborate with
enterprise shared services and information security to maintain a
secure environment
- Work with other security resources (internal or external) to
mitigate security risks and maintain a relatively small risk
profile
- Enforce all HIPAA rules and regulations in accordance with
security policies and in partnership with Privia's Chief
Information Security Officer; support enterprise security policies
and procedures, and work collaboratively with Privia's Enterprise
Shared Services team.Infrastructure
- Responsible for maintaining the development infrastructure
including: Linux/Windows servers, SQL Server/mySQL, public and
private cloud environments.
- Develop, document, and maintain solutions for operational
administration, system/data backup, disaster recovery, and
security/performance monitoringOperations
- Operate and administer tools leveraged in our Agile
environment
- Engineer solutions for scalability, reliability, and uptime,
including ability to identify and troubleshoot performance issues
like memory leaks, processing bottlenecks, database load etc.
- Participate in development operations projects including
migrating tools and products to forward compatible technologies
including BigQuery, Kubernetes and Jenkins
- Build and manage monitoring for production services and
processes including flashboards and real time monitoring with SMS
notificationsQualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
- Strong background in modernization leveraging cloud-native
technologies hosted on a cloud platform (GCP preferably but will
consider AWS and Azure), microservice event-driven architecture and
containerization (Docker/Kubernetes/GKE)
- 5+ years of experience of DevOps culture on a distributed Agile
environment and implementation of a CI/CD pipeline to deploy
web-based and mobile applications
- 5+ years of solid experience with Ansible and Terraform and
fluency in at least one scripting language Go and/or Python
- Experience working and/or administering DevOps Tools/Frameworks
including:
- Repositories: GitHub, BitBucket, GitLab
- Test frameworks: unittest, rspec, serverspec, chefspec,
kitchen-ci, puppet-rspec, beaker
- Deployment on Public/Private Clouds: Jenkins, UrbanCode,
Harness
- Container Orchestration/Management: Docker, Mesos,
OpenShift
- Container Security: Twistlock, Cloud Insights
- Static Code Analysis: SonarQube, DeepSource
- SecOps: Blackduck, CheckMarx
- Telemetry: Grafana, Prometheus, ELK Stack
- Strong Linux (Ubuntu) and Windows operations skills including
administering and securing operating system, tools and applications
such as Apache, SQL Server, mySQL and Ruby on Rails from internal
and external threat
- Must be willing and able to communicate with the team via
webcam, webconf, and phone.
- Must have access to private, quiet work space with high-speed
internet to effectively work remotely
- Must be able to travel for team-offsites twice per year and to
attend vendor meetings directly related to the position in
