Job Description:
ERG is seeking talented, motivated Civil/Environmental Engineers
experienced with municipal water and wastewater collection,
treatment, and distribution system design and operation. Specific
duties may include:* Evaluate design, construction costs, and
operation and maintenance and assess engineering risks of proposed
water and wastewater infrastructure projects.* Research and
evaluate the performance of innovative technologies and alternative
wastewater treatment solutions.* Identify solutions and strategies
to address emerging needs related to utility resiliency,
sustainability and treatment of emerging contaminants.* Research
and compile information on water and wastewater infrastructure
financing strategies.* Facilitate discussions and collaborate with
clients and internal and external program stakeholders to further
program objectives.* Prepare and conduct informational webinars and
trainings.* Perform program or project management duties including
managing multiple projects and small project teams and ensuring
work is performed on time, on target, and on budget.ERG () is a

have:* A degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.* Five to 15
years of experience with water or wastewater treatment system
design, operation, or system evaluation, preferably including use
of innovative technologies and treatment of emerging contaminants.*
Professional Engineer's (PE) license or ability to obtain license
within one to two years of joining ERG.* Strong writing and
communication skills and the ability to present project findings to
different stakeholders, both orally and in writing.* Strong time
management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects and
meet tight deadlines, while providing quality client-ready
deliverables* At least three years of project or program management
experience.Ideal candidates will have experience with the
following:* Experience with infrastructure financing programs,
including SRF and/or other state or federal grant and loan
programs.* Experience working with or supporting water and/or
wastewater utilities, particularly small, rural systems or systems
in disadvantaged communities.* Knowledge of federal water and
wastewater regulations and permitting requirements.Job ID:
