The Sales Engineer ("SE") will be responsible for leveraging CareJourney data domain knowledge, analytics and member research to promote sales of CareJourney products. The SE will have broad knowledge of CareJourney's current and future state data assets and product direction, and deep knowledge of CareJourney's product capabilities. The SE will articulate member relevant trends based on CareJourney solutions, and will be part of the member-facing CareJourney team to provide technical expertise on existing engagements and identifying new opportunities within accounts. This function is primary field sales oriented but also an important funnel of market intel on competition to our product team.Success Criteria

  • Have a background in engineering, mathematics, economics, or public health
  • Equipped with SQL expertise
  • Drive technical sales of CareJourney solutions as part of the CareJourney sales team
  • Articulate member business objectives and business value to purchase CareJourney solutions
  • Demonstrates technical expertise and establishes credibility with CareJourney membership
  • Analyzes and presents CareJourney product competitive benefits to internal sales and product teamsRoles and Responsibilities
    • Maintains product expertise for both current and future state of CareJourney solutions
    • Document member's product ecosystem for potential CareJourney solutions
    • Collaborate with sales team to create member offers and proposals
    • Communicate both vertical and member-specific value based on CareJourney solutions
    • Create interest in membership for CareJourney solutions via targeted analytical services
    • Act as strategic consulting leadership in selected member engagements in partnership with Member ServicesSales Engineering is a new, but rapidly growing discipline for CareJourney. We work with every team in the company to help prospective members understand the value of our products. SEs live at the intersection of Sales and Member Services - you will get plenty of front line enterprise sales exposure (no sales background required), and play a significant role in our growing sales organization.
