ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology
Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1 years speech-language
pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A contract Speech Language
Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available to serve PreK
through 5th-grade students at two elementary schools in the
Baltimore area, MD. This role provides an excellent opportunity for
professionals seeking to support speech and language development in
a school setting within Harford County. Position Details: Location:
Baltimore area, Maryland (Magnolia Elementary: 3 days/week Tuesday,
Wednesday, Thursday; Prospect Mill Elementary: 2 days/week Monday,
Wednesday) Schedule: Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Duration: February 16, 2026, through May 29, 2026, with potential
extension into Extended School Year (ESY) services for 4 weeks in
July 2026 Student Population: Elementary students PreK to 5th grade
Work Setting: On-site Qualifications and Requirements: Must have an
active Maryland Professional Licensure as an SLPA Compliance with
House Bill 486 requirements, including district background check,
fingerprinting, and employment history review Experience working
with school-aged children preferred Excellent communication and
organizational skills Role Responsibilities: Support
speech-language pathologists in delivering therapy services to
assigned caseloads Assist in developing and implementing speech and
language interventions tailored to students needs Track student
progress and maintain accurate documentation Collaborate
effectively with educators, therapists, and families to enhance
student outcomes Adhere to district policies and scheduling for

Compensation for this position ranges from $24.76 to $44.76.
